Faith and Heritage Center


Short History

The Sts. Constantine and Helen Faith and Heritage Center was a long time vision and goal of many dedicated parishioners of Sts. Constantine and Helen Romanian Orthodox Cathedral of Chicago. With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Nicolae, the search began in 2013 to find a property, which would become the home for Sts. Constantine and Helen Cathedral and also Romanian Orthodox Archdiocese in the Americas ministries.


Accommodations

The six dormitory rooms each accommodate 6 to 10 individuals and the two cottages accommodate another 10 individuals. The maximum capacity of the facility is 58. The main hall can seat up to 100 for meals and it has a library corner.
The kitchen has been totally remodeled and equipped with new ovens and cabinets. Complete meal service can be provided by our staff for groups of 30 to 100 people.


Attractions

The beautiful city of South Haven offers opportunities for shopping, antique hunting, restaurants and museums. South Haven is the home of the Michigan Maritime Museum and the self-proclaimed Blueberry Capital of the World.
The harbor city's National Blueberry Festival – attracts thousands of visitors. South Haven is a major regional tourist draw because of its recreational harbor and beaches.
